Sting release full schedule for 2019-20 OHL season

The Sarnia Sting will play most of their home games Fridays and Sundays in the 2019-20 OHL regular season.

The Sarnia Sting will play most of their home games Fridays and Sundays in the 2019-20 Ontario Hockey League regular season.

The Sting will host 15 games on Fridays and 11 games on Sundays at Progressive Auto Sales Arena in their schedule released Tuesday.

Friday games will continue to start at 7:05 p.m., but all Sunday games have been moved back two hours to 4:05 p.m.

The Sting will play four home games on Saturdays, all at 4:05 p.m.

Their home schedule also includes three Wednesday games as well as a Family Day matinee on Monday, Feb. 17, against the Flint Firebirds at 2:05 p.m.

They’ll play a school-day game against the visiting Firebirds on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m.

The Sting’s annual New Year’s home-and-home series with the Knights will be Sunday, Dec. 29, in Sarnia and Tuesday, Dec. 31, in London at 4 p.m.

Their home and season opener is Friday, Sept. 20, against the Hamilton Bulldogs.

The Sting will play five three-in-threes. They’ll do it on back-to-back weekends Nov. 29-Dec. 1 and Dec. 6-8, and then again Jan. 3-5 and Jan. 10-12.
