Lambton OPP stopped two teens in separate backroad incidents over the weekend.

The first was on Courtright Line in Brooke-Alvinston, a marked 90 km/h road. Police say they charged a local teen after their radar tracked a vehicle traveling more than 50 km/h over the limit.

The second was on Forest Road in Warwick Township, a marked 80 km/h road. In that case, OPP say they measured a vehicle traveling more than 70 km/h over the limit.

A Brooke-Alvinston teen, 17, and an Oil Springs teen, 18, had their licences and vehicles seized by police. Both are charged with racing a motor vehicle and were to appear in court Monday.
