Matilda the Musical is making sweet music at the box office.

Six shows, from Oct. 23 to 27, for the upcoming Sault Theatre Workshop and Shot in the Dark co-production are sold out.

Tickets for an extra date, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m., went on sale late Tuesday afternoon, said STW box office manager Sandra Houston.

It’s a wonderful show and we’re so excited to be able to include another day so people can get to see this great show,” she said.

Limited tickets remain for a benefit night performance on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. to help Breton House and A New Link. Seats are $30. Call 705-759-4891.

No more shows will be added to avoid Matilda conflicting with Algoma Repertory Theatre’s production of Evil Dead: The Musical. That show runs Oct. 30 – Nov. 2 at Grand Gardens Downtown.
